May 20th<\/sup>\u00a0marked the start of Phase One of the state’s efforts to re-open with restaurants, retailers, small businesses, museums and zoos reopening in the safest ways possible. During this phase, businesses will have to comply with sector rules and undergo a self-certification process. Detailed guidelines for businesses and customers are available online at the\u00a0Department of Economic and Community Development<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Governor Lamont\u00a0announced<\/a>\u00a0that hair salons and barbershops, initially scheduled to be part of the May 20th<\/sup>\u00a0reopening, will be able to open on June 1st<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, Governor Lamont outlined what future phases of reopening will look like. The details have been made available for the second and third phases of the state’s reopening process. While subject to change, some key dates are as follows:<\/p>\n
