\n<\/strong>The Warehouse Poin<\/strong>t<\/strong>\u00a0Library, 107 Main Street, East Windsor, CT has put in-person events in the library on hold, but we are offering virtual programming\u00a0for both children and adults this October.\u00a0 Registration is required for all zoom programs and can be done on the library\u2019s website:\u00a0\u00a0www.warehousepointlibrary.info<\/a>.\u00a0 Need more information, contact the library at 860-623-5482.<\/p>\n

ZOOM into STORY\u00a0<\/strong>TIME<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>with Mrs. M. for an interactive program on\u00a0Thursdays at 4 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0October 8, 15, 22 and 29<\/strong>.\u00a0 This program is for children ages\u00a04-7.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Vote for your favorite book and guess what is inside Mrs. M’s memory box.\u00a0 A prepared craft will be available Monday-Friday to pickup at the library or curbside for your child to do at home before the weekly zoom story time.<\/p>\n

\u00a0ZOOM into STORY TIME<\/strong>\u00a0for children ages\u00a02-5 years old<\/strong>\u00a0with Mrs. M will be held on\u00a0Fridays at 11 a.m.<\/strong>\u00a0October<\/strong>\u00a09, 16, 23 and 30<\/strong>.\u00a0 \u00a0This program will emphasize stories, songs, finger plays and fun!\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0A craft for you to do at home with your child will be available Monday-Friday to pick-up at the library or curbside before the weekly zoom story time.<\/p>\n

Club READ on Zoom!<\/strong>\u00a0begins\u00a0Monday, October 5 at 4 p.m. and continues October 19 and 26.<\/strong>\u00a0 Your child will be reading 1, 2 or 3 titles from three Nutmeg Book Award Nominees 2021 chosen by Mrs. K.\u00a0 Expect\u00a0lively interactive conversation, questions and a surprise book related activity each week.\u00a0 This program is for\u00a0ages 7-11.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Club Tech on Zoom<\/strong>, for ages\u00a08 and older<\/strong>\u00a0will be held on\u00a0Wednesdays at 4 p.m. beginning October 7 and continuing October 14, 21 and 28.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Join us in designing super cool projects at home while zooming with Mrs. K.<\/p>\n

Our monthly\u00a0Book Discussion<\/strong>\u00a0returns on Zoom. Join our director, Lois Hiller on\u00a0Wednesday, October 14 at 1 p.m<\/strong>. for a lively discussion of\u00a0Life Undercover:\u00a0 Coming of Age in the CIA\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>by Amaryllis\u00a0Fox.\u00a0\u00a0C<\/strong>ome into the Library to pick up your copy of the book or ask for curbside service.<\/p>\n

Join us outside the building on\u00a0<\/strong>Saturday, October 10 at 10:30 a.m.<\/strong>\u00a0for an Irish Dance performance and mini lesson by SRI Irish Dance Academy of South Windsor.\u00a0 Some chairs will be provided.\u00a0 Bringing a chair or blanket will insure you have a seat.\u00a0 And remember you don’t need to be Irish to enjoy Irish dancing!\u00a0 Bring the family!\u00a0 Masks and social distancing are required.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
