{"id":6604,"date":"2020-11-05T08:19:17","date_gmt":"2020-11-05T13:19:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.eastwindsorchamber.com\/site\/?p=6604"},"modified":"2020-11-05T08:19:17","modified_gmt":"2020-11-05T13:19:17","slug":"november-activities-at-the-warehouse-point-library","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eastwindsorchamber.com\/site\/november-activities-at-the-warehouse-point-library\/","title":{"rendered":"November activities at the Warehouse Point Library"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>November activities at the Warehouse Point Library<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Warehouse Point Library, 107 Main Street, East Windsor\u00a0will be celebrating the November holidays with a story on our website, www.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/warehousepointlibrary.info\/\">warehousepointlibrary.info<\/a>\u00a0each week for children ages 2 and up.\u00a0<strong>Listen to a Veteran&#8217;s Day Story<\/strong>\u00a0anytime at home beginning November 1 through the 11.\u00a0 The first 15 children who stop in the library from Thursday, November 5th through Tuesday, November 10th may pick up a FREE American flag. <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2964\" src=\"http:\/\/www.eastwindsorchamber.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/flag-in-field.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"338\" height=\"149\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.eastwindsorchamber.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/flag-in-field-300x132.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.eastwindsorchamber.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/flag-in-field.jpg 338w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 338px) 100vw, 338px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Listen to a Diwali Story<\/strong>\u00a0available on-line Thursday November 12 through 18.\u00a0 Diwali Mandala Fuzzy posters will be given out to the first 25 children who stop in the library during this time.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Listen to a Thanksgiving Story<\/strong>\u00a0Thursday November 19th through Saturday, November 28th.\u00a0 Pick up a Thanksgiving craft to do at home beginning Thursday, November 19 through Wednesday, November 25th.\u00a0 Registration is required for the pick-up craft.\u00a0 You may pick up in the library or request curbside pickup. Register on-line, beginning November 2.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>The CT Humanities Book Voyager Program,\u00a0<\/em><strong>Tales from around the World \u2013 with a Twist<\/strong>! will run every Tuesday in November at 4:30 p.m.\u00a0 This virtual discussion, hosted by storyteller Carolyn Stearns, is recommended for children in first, second and third grade, who will receive a copy of the four books.
