These events include:<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Winterfest and the \u201cTunnel of Lights\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Winterfest 2020 and the \u201cTunnel of Lights\u201d begin on Friday, November 27<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Winterfest will be held from 5PM until 9PM Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from Nov 27<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0through Dec 20<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally the Museum will be open from Dec 26<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0through Dec 30<sup>th.<\/sup>Winterfest and the \u201cTunnel of Lights\u201d is celebrating its 42<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0year as a family holiday tradition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Halls are decked both inside and outside with over 15,000 lights. Outside, closed trolley cars transport jolly guests down a tunnel of lights as they sing traditional Christmas Carols with their trolley car operators.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For an open air view of the \u201cTunnel of Lights,\u201d one open sleigh car is lit up entirely with holiday lights.\u00a0 Be sure to dress warm and bring blankets. Inside, the Visitor Center is a Winter Wonderland with multiple model train layouts and lights galore.\u00a0Admission prices\u00a0are $15-$20 per person and all ticket sales must be made in advance. Museum Members receive half off admission.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Christmas Tree Trolley<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Christmas Tree Trolley will held on Saturday &amp; Sunday November 28<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0&amp; 29<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For that special authentic Christmas experience, travel by an antique trolley car to Skylark Place where you can choose a specialty selected pre-cut white spruce tree and bring it back with you on the trolley. Additionally, enjoy the Visitor Center which is decorated like a Winter Wonderland\u00a0with multiple model train layouts and lights galore.\u00a0CTM will be selling family\/friends packages for this program at a cost of $150 for up to 6 family members\/friends which includes the Christmas Tree. All ticket sales must be made in advance. Museum Members receive $50 off this package.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Storytime Trolley with Santa &amp; Elf<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A great program for our younger visitors. Storytime trolley with Santa &amp; Elf will run on Saturday and Sunday Dec 12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0&amp; 13<sup>th<\/sup>. Visitors will enjoy a ride in a decorated vintage trolley car where Santa will visit with each child (distantly). Also, while on board Santa\u2019s elf will read a holiday story and each child will complete a holiday craft. Following the Trolley ride, Museum guests will head to the Visitors Center which has been transformed into a Winter Wonderland with multiple model train layouts &amp; lights galore.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Admission prices\u00a0are $25 per person and all ticket sales must be made in advance. Museum Members receive half off admission.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As many people know the Museum was hit hard along with other businesses from the Pandemic.\u00a0 The events CTM hold are fundraisers which are extremely important in supporting the museum. Also this year the Museum will be selling beautifully made Holiday Centerpieces to help make up for lost revenue due to the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Museum will be following the State of Connecticut Covid-19 guidelines including masks while visiting.
