The New East Windsor Community Center opened recently a section which is a Senior Fitness Center for Our Communities Seniors, (Senior, Social Services as well as Parks & recreation are now located in the Community Center at 28 Abbe Road East Windsor CT 06088).

About East Windsor Senior Center

The East Windsor Senior Center, located at 28 Abbe Road in East Windsor, CT has been in operation since May of 1980. East Windsor residents, fifty-five years of age or older, are welcome to participate in scheduled programs and vital services. Senior Centers are focal points for the older population as they seek out services, recreational programs, social activities, and educational programs. We strive to promote the socialization, independence, self-sufficiency, and community involvement of our senior citizens. The Senior Center is a non-profit agency, requiring no dues or membership fees.

The Staff

Under the umbrella of Senior Services, the Director of Recreation and Community Services is responsible for the administration of senior programs, transportation services for elderly and handicapped, and nutrition services for both on-site and delivery. The Director is assisted by the Senior Center Lead/Program Coordinator. The Transportation Program employs a Senior Transportation Coordinator and Professional Drivers. The Nutrition Program employs a Nutrition Site Manager. Please contact us with any questions or concerns.
