Last One Chance-Businesses Need to Attend Sept 23rd Public Hearing On Regulations

In April the East Windsor Chamber of Commerce presented our Business “Sign (and more) Survey” to the Planning & Zoning Commission.

The Planning & Development staff proceeded to try and create / adjust regulations and on Sept 23rd the the Planning & Zoning Commission will be holding a Public Hearing on some adjustments to existing regulations which really don’t address the concerns put forth in the survey..

It does not address the need to create and /or eliminate regulations which could create a Friendlier Business Climate for Our Existing and possible New Businesses (especially in Our Commercial Corridors).

Also of concern is any new / adjusted Regulations that are being suggested have been written by the person who enforces the regulations, the Zoning Enforcement Officer.

Also Neither the East Windsor Chamber of Commerce or the non existent Economic Development Commission was consulted or even workshopped these regulations.

To the best of Our knowledge NO Business was contacted or participated either.

This is very disheartening and certainly not in Businesses best interest.

With that said this will be Businesses **One Chance to address the Town directly.

**No workshops planned for future- No further work will be performed by the Town to improve or create regulations for the Commercial Corridors.
