View from Church and Main-

The weekend is going to be just GREAT with temperatures reaching near 75 -Great Time to check out the Scantic River Park trails maintained by East Windsor American Heritage River Commission(check them out on Face Book).

The Eat Out East Windsor Program has been overwhelming with the support of the Community to Eat Out at one of East Windsor’s 27 Restaurants. I know All of Our Businesses Thank East Windsor for Supporting Them. The Drawing for it will be Nov 15th.

Unfortunately (out of caution) we are going to have a rollback in Openings of Our Businesses Locally & Regionally. Below in Press releases we have a letter from David Lehman Commissioner of CT DECD with a link for Businesses(and residents) to know more.

The Chamber Leadership along with Our Town Leaders encourage everyone to follow the guidelines so we can adjust the curve again and re-continue to reopen.

Some Good stories as well on Things like Specials at Nonnas, Holiday Happenings at Ct Trolley Museum (Winterfest, Tunnel of Lights, Christmas Tree Trolley and Santa and Elf Storytime.

Also info on Happenings at Warehouse Point Library in November and Photos from the Scarecrows that were adorning Our Town Hall for Halloween(kinda cool).

Lastly the Coming months are the hardest with the Holidays and see how you can help out those less fortunate with  Turkeys for Thanksgiving, Adopt a Child for Holidays and update directly from Our East Windsor HAT(Hunger Action Team).

Don’t forget also is tomorrow is Scouting for Food campaign for Our Own 5 Corner Cupboard (EW All Volunteer Food Pantry).

Lastly Please wear your Mask for the Safety of Yourself and Others -If we as a Community work together we can as my sailing buddy Orca from the late 70’s said “We are in the Second part of the Storm but we can Make it if we lower our sails and batten the hatches” WE Did!!
